An Evening with Ian Clayton Ian Clayton has performed his work live in theatres, community centres, prisons, hospitals and at festivals. For twenty years he was a regular broadcaster on BBC TV and had his own regular series on Yorkshire TV. He combines aspects of his own life’s journey with readings from a variety of books he has written. His stories are about life and living it, they are real, funny, poignant and filled with little, often surreal observations, that make a lot of sense. As part of this event, Ian Clayton will be in conversation with Heath Common, a poet, lyricist and performance artist who has recorded a number of highly acclaimed albums celebrating northern culture – heathcommon.com |
